The head office of Brunel International is located in Amsterdam.ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a proactive and driven Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to translate business needs into clear requirements and drive successful delivery of solutions.The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the Product Owner, providing analysis, stakeholder management, and delivery support while helping ensure business needs are aligned with product priorities.ABOUT THE TEAM The role sits within Brunel’s in-house Global IT team that is driving the global digital transformation. It will belong to a peer group of Business Analysts and will work on a daily basis with a dedicated squad comprising of Business Analysts, Developers, and Test Analysts. It will report to the Manager Applications, Teus Klarenbeek.WHAT YOU’LL DO Build strategic customer and stakeholder relationships and act as a central point of contact between the business and delivery teams.Analyse business processes, systems, and operating models while collaborating with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements.Support the Product Owner in backlog management, requirements refinement, and user story development, ensuring work is well-defined and ready for delivery.Support stakeholder engagement and expectation management, ensuring alignment with Product Owner priorities and established product governance processesProactively challenge existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive recommendations that deliver business value.Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.Identify process improvements and recommend effective solutions.Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and provide leadership and coordination where requiredProactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, and work with teams to resolve them.Support testing activities and validate delivered solutions against business requirements.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile delivery environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and coordinating multiple decision-makers across different business functions.Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrating cultural awareness and organizational effectiveness in global and multicultural environments.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.Experience facilitating workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and process improvement initiatives.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and product delivery.Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is highly desirable.Experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, HR technology, or related operational environments is preferred.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and drives continuous improvement.A confident communicator who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.A collaborative team player who can build trust across business and technology teams.A pragmatic problem solver with a strong focus on delivering business value.INTERVIEW PROCESSTwo interviews and an online assessmentWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUCompetitive base salary.Hybrid & flexible working – 3 days in the office.Coaching and mentoring through weekly check-ins.Friendly, collaborative & supportive team environment.Laptop and smart phone with Microsoft powered IT tools.Benefits; including pension scheme, group health insurance, 26 paid vacation days with the option to buy upto 40 vacation days per year, travel allowance scheme, bicycle lease plan, gym discount.Through the Brunel Academy - Brunel's learning & development programme - you have every opportunity to continue to develop yourself, both professionally and personally.
