Senior Business Analyst | Group Data Security Analytics | 12 month Fixed Term Contract We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst with genuine data, analytics or BI experience to join a small, high-impact team at a major Australian organisation, productionising a highly confidential group security analytics product.This isn't a generalist BA role, and it isn't a pure delivery or Scrum Master role either — it sits deliberately across both. You'll be doing hands-on BA work (requirements, use cases, translating technical detail for non-technical stakeholders) while also owning the agile delivery rhythm for a small, technical team: running sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritisation and delivery tracking. If you've only ever worked as a BA feeding into someone else's delivery process, or only ever run ceremonies without doing the BA thinking yourself, this probably isn't the right fit. If you're comfortable doing both — often in the same day — this could be a great one.What you'll be doing:Owning end-to-end delivery of a group security analytics data product, from requirements through to productionRunning the full agile delivery cycle for a small, technical team — sprint planning, backlog management, prioritisation, refinement and groomingActing as the team's de facto Scrum lead as well as its BA — keeping ceremonies tight and useful rather than just process for its own sakeLeading the onboarding of new systems and data sourcesEngaging senior stakeholders — including a newly appointed Security and Compliance lead — to gather requirements, present options, and secure approvalsHelping guide stakeholders through decisions where data maturity is still developingWorking proactively and independently, with minimal need for oversightEssential Skills - Please read before applying :Proven experience as a Senior BA within data, analytics or BI environmentsStrong hands-on agile delivery experience — comfortable owning sprint planning, backlog management and Scrum-style ceremonies, not just participating in themA track record of productionising data products end-to-endStrong stakeholder management skills, especially with senior, time-poor executivesComfort working in a highly confidential, security-focused environmentA fast-learning, proactive mindset — you won't be micromanaged, so you'll need to bring your own driveIf this sounds like you, get in touch or send your CV — I'd love to have a confidential conversation about the role.
