The role owns requirements definition across business rules, validation rules, process and user journeys, error messaging, and the correction process, ensuring invoice data is captured, validated, and processed accurately end to end. Working closely with business, tax/finance, and technical teams, the Business Analyst translates regulatory and operational needs into clear, testable specifications for the e-Invoicing data platform. UAE VAT / e-Invoicing domain knowledge is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Elicit, define, and document functional and non-functional requirements for the e-Invoicing solutionDefine business rules governing invoice capture, transformation, and submissionSpecify validation rules and data-quality checks for invoice data across source systemsMap end-to-end processes and user journeys, including exception and edge-case flowsDefine error messages and error-handling behaviour for each validation and processing stepDesign the correction process for rejected or non-compliant invoices, including rework and resubmissionSupport source-to-target and reconciliation requirements in partnership with data engineering and architecture teamsMaintain requirement traceability, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentationFacilitate workshops and reviews with business, tax/finance, and technology stakeholdersSupport UAT by defining test scenarios and validating delivered functionality against requirementsRequired Skills & Experience:Must Have :Proven experience as a Business Analyst on data or platform delivery projectsStrong requirements definition, business-rule, and validation-rule documentation skillsProcess mapping and user-journey design, including exception and error flowsAbility to define error messaging and correction / rework processesStrong stakeholder management across business, finance, and technology teamsClear, structured documentation with well-defined acceptance criteriaExperience supporting UAT through test scenarios and requirement validationGood To Have:UAE VAT / e-Invoicing domain knowledgeExperience with financial, tax, or invoicing dataFamiliarity with source-to-target mapping and data reconciliationSQL for data profiling and validationExperience on regulatory or compliance-driven programsC5i is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
