Senior Business Analyst

Company OverviewSpantrek is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, and delivery of large-scale system implementation projects. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that requirements are clearly captured, communicated, and translated into successful outcomes for stakeholders across public and private sector clients.Role SummaryThe Senior Business Analyst will work closely with clients, project teams, and technical stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the successful implementation of large-scale systems. The ideal candidate is fluent in Arabic and English, combines strong analytical thinking with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and has a track record of driving process improvement, ideally within the public sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering activities through workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with business and technical stakeholders.Analyze, document, and map current and future state business processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements for system implementation projects.Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, Training sessions and requirement walkthroughs to stakeholders and senior management in both Arabic and English.Support solution design by validating that proposed systems and processes meet documented business requirements.Develop process documentation, business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring requirements are met and issues are resolved prior to go-live.Build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and fostering collaboration.Support change management activities, including training and communication to end users on new processes and systems.Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, templates, and methodologies across the organization.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on large-scale system implementation projects.Bachelor's degree (BSc) required in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.Strong, demonstrated experience in business process analysis, mapping, and improvement.Proven experience in requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation across complex projects.Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.Very strong interpersonal and people skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of an organization.Currently based in the United Arab Emirates.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience delivering projects within the public sector or for government entities.Experience analyzing or supporting the implementation of Visitor Management Solutions or similar security/access-control technology systems.Core Competencies Business process analysis and improvementRequirements gathering and documentationPresentation and facilitation skillsStakeholder management and relationship buildinCross-cultural communication (Arabic/English)Analytical thinking and problem-solvingAdaptability and collaborative teamwork
