Senior Business Analyst

Primary functionGather and document requirements for SOC Engineering activities (log onboarding, integrations, workflows).Capture detailed application, system, and service information relevant to security telemetry.Document integration prerequisites for project and BAU tasks (connectivity, APIs, authentication, accounts, certificates).Facilitate SOC Engineering workshops related to use‑case discussions and data onboarding (with SOC, platform, app teams, vendors).Manage JIRA and ServiceNow items — including requirements, updates, progress tracking, and SLA‑based reporting.Support planning and estimation by collecting effort and time inputs from engineering teams.Coordinate prioritisation discussions, maintain decisions, and ensure traceability across workstreams.Document meeting notes, actions, decisions, and escalate blockers or risks when required.Support operational readiness activities — including handover packs and documentation updates.Produce status reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Manage ongoing stakeholder engagement, request lifecycle management, and associated reporting.Required work experienceProven experience as a Business Analyst in cybersecurity, SOC, or IT engineering environments, supporting log onboarding or security platform integrations.Hands‑on experience managing requirements, backlog items, and workflows using JIRA and/or ServiceNow in project and BAU contexts.Demonstrated experience facilitating technical workshops and stakeholder engagements across engineering, application, and operations teams.Experience supporting delivery planning, estimation, and tracking within Agile or similar delivery frameworks.Strong background in documentation, reporting, and coordination of technical initiatives, including meeting outcomes, requirements traceability, and operational handovers.Mandatory Qualifications / ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cybersecurity, SOC, or IT engineering environments.Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and traceability for technical integrations or platform delivery.Hands‑on experience with JIRA and/or ServiceNow for managing requirements, workflows, and service requests.Experience facilitating technical workshops and stakeholder engagement across engineering, application, and operations teams.Strong understanding of log onboarding concepts, system integrations, and security telemetry workflows.Experience supporting project delivery, estimation, and tracking within Agile or similar delivery frameworks.Proven ability in documentation, reporting, and operational handover support for technical initiatives.
