Senior Business Analyst

We’re partnering with an established organisation undergoing significant transformation to find a Senior Business Analyst who can bring strong delivery capability, but just as importantly, help lift the capability of the broader BA team.This isn’t a role for someone who simply wants to gather requirements and move onto the next project. You’ll work closely with an existing team of BAs, helping take a good function to the next level through coaching, mentoring, stronger standards and consistent ways of working.You’ll be responsible for:Coaching and mentoring BAs, helping develop their capability and confidenceOwning and continuously improving BA standards, frameworks and ways of workingLeading complex initiatives from discovery and requirements through to implementation and BAU handoverFacilitating workshops and working closely with senior and executive stakeholdersTranslating complex business problems into practical solution options and recommendationsCurrent and future-state process mapping, gap analysis and continuous improvementProducing high-quality requirements, process documentation and analysis artefactsActing as a trusted advisor across business, transformation and technology teamsWorking across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environmentsYou’ll ideally bring:Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience across complex transformation initiativesDemonstrated experience coaching, mentoring or uplifting other BAsExperience establishing or improving BA standards, templates, playbooks or qualityConfidence engaging with senior leaders and constructively challenging stakeholdersStrong workshop facilitation, requirements and process improvement capabilityThe ability to operate across both strategic thinking and detailed deliveryExperience across technology-enabled transformation and complex system changeIf you’re an experienced BA who gets as much satisfaction from developing people and improving how a team operates as you do from delivering the work yourself, I’d be keen to hear from you.
