Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe ideal candidate is expected to own requirements end-to-end, from first conversation with stakeholders through final sign-off and will be the single point of accountability for ensuring that what is built aligns precisely with what was agreed. This role involves liaising between stakeholders and the development team, translating business needs into clear, actionable deliverables while guiding the team toward value-driven outcomes.A significant focus of this role is the depth of analysis that happens before development begins. You will be expected to think beyond the happy path — proactively identifying edge cases, system boundary conditions, and exception scenarios that often go undiscovered until late in the cycle. The role requires the ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear, actionable, and well-defined specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into detailed specifications for IT teamsMaintain and version-control requirement documentation, keeping it up to-date as scope evolvesAct as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team, translating domain knowledge into precise functional specificationsChallenge incomplete or contradictory requirements early and drive resolution rather than passing ambiguity downstreamWork with project teams to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and manage change requests throughout the project lifecycleSystematically identify and document edge cases, boundary conditions, and exception flows for every featureCollaborate with QA to ensure edge cases are converted into testable acceptance criteria and are covered in test plansMaintain an edge case register per feature, ensuring traceability from scenario to requirement to test caseSupport sprint planning by ensuring user stories are refined, acceptance criteria are clear, and the team has no open questions before picking up workParticipating in UAT — coordinating with end users and validating that the delivered functionality meets agreed requirementsProactively communicate scope risks, gaps, or changes as they emergeDevelop, review, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, process flows, functional specifications, user manuals, and testing protocolRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven experience (5+ Years) as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst role, with expertise in documentation, application testing, team management, and requirements analysisStrong understanding of business processes, data modelling, and agile project management methodologiesProficiency in using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring team membersKnowledge of Agile project management methodologiesPreferred Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related fieldCertification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is a plusExperience in the maritime industry is a plusFamiliarity with business process modelling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucid chart) and/or programming languagesKey CompetenciesLeadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.Analytical Thinking: Expertise in analysing complex data to drive business decisions.Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues and effectively managing resolutions.Adaptability: Ability to handle a dynamic environment, balancing multiple projects and priorities.Attention to Detail: Meticulous in all aspects of documentation, testing, and data analysis.Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.Why Join UsAt Admaren Tech Private Limited, you’ll be at the forefront of bridging business needs with innovative solutions, shaping the future of our cutting-edge software products.
