Senior Business Analyst - Commercial

About the CompanyYou are a finance professional responsible for managing the accuracy and timeliness of Sales Reporting, management of Marketing Costs, Inventories and Waste for Lotus's stores, partnering with Commercial Director, Trading Directors and have a wide range of responsibilities which include:About the RoleYou willLead the sales reporting function for all our stores, with strong stakeholder engagement with Commercial Director, Trading Directors and Buying Managers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all deliverablesManage and optimize Marketing Costs, Inventories and Waste and ensuring that we meet these KPIs as per our BudgetEnsuring compliance with Price Control and Anti-Profiteering ActSpearhead improvements/changes in reporting using Power BI as the platform, including management of BIC reporting to ThailandSupport Financial Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting. Develop annual Budget, create and maintain monthly rolling forecasts to project future financial performance. Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, identifying key drivers and trendsEvaluate promotions ROI and effectivenessSupporting Commercial Team with significant decision to be made ensuring end to end financial analysisSupervise Business Analysts and providing mentoring, coaching and developmentPerform month end closing on matters relating to Sales, Marketing Costs and WasteEnsure internal controls and corporate governance principles are adhered toParticipate in adhoc business cases and projectsQualificationsMinimum Degree in Accounting / Finance, preferably with accounting professional qualification (MIA/MICPA/ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA)At least 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Finance/ related areasRequired SkillsIntermediate/ advanced knowledge in SQL, Power BI and Power Query is preferredPossess strong planning, organizing, communication and influencing skillsSerious commitment to responsibilities with the ability to work under pressureGood communication, report writing, mentoring skills and strong analytical skillsComputer literate with advanced excel skillsSelf-motivated, good team leader and good team playerExperienced in leading a team of people would be an added advantageFMCG /MNC/ Retail experience would be an added advantage
