Senior Salesforce Business AnalystLocation: Austin, Texas Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 base + profit sharingHybrid: 3 days per week with 4-5 days per week as needed and preferredTravel: One trip per quarter or twice per year to Texas, Florida, and Canada-based sites. Employment Type: Full-Time/Permanent with our client in Manufacturing SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced, consultant-minded Senior Business Analyst with a strong Salesforce background to directly with stakeholders and leadership. Must be excellent at writing user stories. Will be working across Sales Cloud implementation, Field Services implementation, custom solutions, and data mapping to Salesforce. This individual will partner closely with business leaders, operational teams, developers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into practical technology solutions. The role will have a significant focus on Salesforce-enabled processes across sales, customer service, field operations, contract-related workflows, and other business functions.The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for translating business objectives into well-structured Agile requirements and maintaining alignment between epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, testing, and release readiness. The environment includes Salesforce, MuleSoft, integration technologies, and emerging AI platforms.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior BA who enjoys operating at the intersection of business processes, technology, and enterprise transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead stakeholder discovery, requirements gathering, and business process analysis through interviews, workshops, and workflow reviews.Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized Agile backlogs.Analyze business challenges and recommend Salesforce, automation, reporting, data quality, and process improvements.Partner with Product, Development, QA, and business teams to support backlog management, testing, UAT, and successful releases.Create and maintain process documentation, workflows, requirements, SOPs, and user enablement materials.Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.Leverage AI tools to improve requirements, documentation, testing, and analysis efficiency.Serve as the liaison between business and technology stakeholders while promoting continuous improvement and user adoption.Required Qualifications5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including senior-level responsibilities and extensive user story development.Strong Salesforce Business Analyst experience supporting requirements gathering, enhancements, and delivery initiatives.Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, business process improvement, and solution analysis.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira or similar backlog management tools.Strong understanding of epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, testing, sprint cycles, and releases.Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, business rules, and data requirements.Working knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data models, automation, reporting, security, integrations, and release management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Additional InformationPreferred ExperienceSalesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, or Experience Cloud experience.Familiarity with MuleSoft, APIs, enterprise integrations, and data flows.Exposure to AI, automation, machine learning, and generative AI tools.Experience with Confluence, Lucidchart, Gearset, or similar documentation and DevOps platforms.Background supporting complex enterprise environments.Core CompetenciesConsultative problem solving and business process analysis.Strong stakeholder facilitation and requirements elicitation skills.Ability to bridge business and technical teams through clear communication.Analytical thinking, active listening, and attention to detail.Adaptability, collaboration, and commitment to continuous learning.Work EnvironmentHybrid role based in Austin, TX.Occasional travel for stakeholder meetings and project activities.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Benefits & OpportunityCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunity to work with Salesforce, MuleSoft, AI, automation, and integration technologies.High-impact role supporting business transformation initiatives.Collaborative environment with strong professional development opportunities.
