Senior Business Analyst | Power & Gas | £130-£150K | London Hybrid 2-3 daysI’m working with a leading global commodities trading business looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst into its London-based Energy Trading technology team. This role will sit close to the business, working across Trading, Middle Office, Trade Support, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology on a range of strategic initiatives across the Energy trading lifecycle.The strongest fit will be someone with deep experience across Gas & Power trading, particularly physical and derivatives products.📍 London / Hybrid💼 Senior Business Analyst – Energy Trading💷 Salary DOE - £130K-£150K + Bonus & BenefitsKey areas of responsibility:

• Working closely with Front Office and Middle Office stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions
• Gathering and translating complex business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
• Supporting projects across trade capture, scheduling, nominations, confirmations, settlements and invoicing
• Analysing trade flows between exchanges, brokers, ETRM platforms and downstream systems
• Supporting reconciliations, STP processes, operational controls and exception management
• Working across regulatory and reporting initiatives including REMIT and EMIR
• Supporting SIT/UAT, defect management and production implementation
• Contributing to solution design, architecture and wider platform strategyWhat they’re looking for:✅ 7+ years’ Business Analysis experience within commodities or financial markets✅ Strong Gas and/or Power trading experience✅ Good understanding of both physical and derivatives trade lifecycles✅ Experience across OTC and exchange-traded products✅ Knowledge of nominations, scheduling, settlements and reconciliations✅ Experience working with ETRM/CTRM platforms and system integrations✅ Exposure to REMIT / EMIR regulatory reporting✅ Strong stakeholder management across Trading, Operations and Technology✅ Understanding of APIs, interfaces, data flows and SQLExperience across LNG, Environmental/Carbon products, exchange onboarding, market data or surveillance would also be beneficial.Please reply with your up to date CV
