Senior Business Development Executive

Cargosrate is seeking an experienced freight professional with a strong track record in the Saudi market and proven success in developing B2B accounts and generating recurring freight business.The ideal candidate combines strong commercial capabilities with practical freight forwarding knowledge, including customer acquisition, pricing, quotations, shipment requirements, and coordination with carriers and logistics partners.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business with Saudi private-sector companies.Build relationships with Logistics, Supply Chain and Procurement decision-makers.Identify customer freight requirements and convert opportunities into actual shipments.Develop relationships with freight forwarders, airlines and logistics partners.Handle the full commercial cycle from prospecting and RFQ discussions to quotation, negotiation, onboarding and first shipment.Work closely with Operations and Product teams to support customer requirements and market growth.Requirements7+ years of experience in freight forwarding, international logistics or supply chain.Strong experience in the Saudi freight market.Proven track record in acquiring new B2B customers.Strong knowledge of Air Freight; Ocean Freight experience is an advantage.Practical understanding of freight pricing, quotations, routing, AWB, Incoterms and international shipping processes.Existing relationships with Saudi importers, exporters, manufacturers or logistics decision-makers are highly valued.Ability to work independently and develop business from prospecting through shipment execution.Who We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a freight professional with hands-on experience across both commercial and operational functions.
