It aims to help industry participants translate technological advances into practical capabilities, strengthen implementation pathways and support the long-term development of Singapore's financial ecosystem.What The Role IsWe are looking for a proactive Senior Business Management & Operations Specialist to support the establishment, governance and ongoing operations of FFI. Reporting to the Senior Finance & Operations Leader, you will help build FFI’s Finance and Operations function from the ground up, including developing the governance, reporting and operational processes required to support FFI’s growth and sustainability.This role operates in a greenfield environment and covers a range of areas, including business operations, financial and budget reporting, procurement and data governance, as well as risk and incident management and business continuity. It is well suited for an individual who enjoys building new capabilities, shaping processes and governance, and working across diverse stakeholders in a growing organization.This is an opportunity to join a newly established organization, shape technology solutions from an early stage, and contribute to challenges that extend beyond any single institution or company. What You'll Do

Finance, Business Management, Budgeting and ReportingSupport annual budgeting, forecasting and organizational planning exercises.Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and funding allocations, including funding‑related and grant utilization reporting.Work with outsourced accounting service providers to coordinate financial operations, management reporting, audits and statutory reporting.Prepare management reports and dashboards, and analyze financial and operational information to support decision-making by senior management and the Board, as well as reporting to key stakeholders.Governance and Procurement FrameworksProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement governance frameworks, policies and procedures.Support the implementation and periodic review of governance and procurement frameworks.Monitor adherence to procurement governance requirements, including approval limits and internal controls.Risk Management, Business Continuity and Operational ReadinessSupport operational risk management processes and controls, including tracking risks, issues and incidents, and following up on required actions.Coordinate business continuity and operational readiness activities, including BCP exercises, scenario testing, incident management and post‑incident reviews, to strengthen organizational resilience.Operational Data Governance and ControlsSupport data and information management initiatives, including the implementation of key governance requirements such as data ownership, classification, access and retention.Support the coordination and tracking of key finance, risk and governance deliverables to enable effective oversight by senior management and the Board.Support the ongoing improvement and documentation of Finance and Operations processes, including use of digital and analytical tools, to strengthen robustness, controls and efficiency.What We Are Looking ForQualificationsDegree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Public Administration or a related discipline.Experience and Skills4 to 8 years of relevant experience in business management, finance, governance, operations, risk management or related functions.Experience in budgeting, financial or management reporting, and the preparation of reports, presentations and papers for senior management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial and operational information and present clear insights.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different stakeholders.The following would be advantageous:Experience in a start-up, newly established or rapidly growing organization.Experience in the public sector, financial services or technology sectors.Familiarity with procurement, risk management, business continuity, incident management or data governance.Experience working with outsourced service providers.Experience using digital and analytical tools to support reporting, process improvement and operational oversight.Personal AttributesThe ideal candidate:Takes ownership and drives work independently.Is highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to exercise sound judgement.Demonstrates a strong governance mindset and professionalism.Is comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.Communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Enjoys building processes, improving ways of working, and collaborating with others.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
