Senior Business Planning and Development Specialist – Major Companies

Duties and Responsibilities

Contributes to business planning and development activities with the key companies in the energy ecosystem and government entities.Contributes to activities involving collaboration with key companies in the energy ecosystem and relevant government entities within the energy ecosystem to establish specific targets for major projects, with the aim of increasing localization and enhancing local content in the energy sector.Develops mechanisms to ensure the existence of strategies aimed at increasing the percentage of local spending and achieving strategic objectives in energy ecosystem companies and major projects in the energy sector.Contributes to activities related to the governance of the methodology that supports and encourages increased localization and enhanced local content across all major projects related to the energy ecosystem.Establishes processes for aligning efforts with all entities within the energy ecosystem, major companies, and relevant entities to enhance their contribution to developing the sector's local content and identifying strategic investment opportunities to increase local content in the energy sector.Performs verification activities to ensure the existence of the plans required to increase the Saudization rate in targeted projects and major companies in the energy sector.Develops activities to identify all data and information related to future major projects in the energy ecosystem from all companies and competent entities, and studies and analyzes such data and information to compile lists of strategic investment opportunities for local content in the energy sector.Contributes to activities involving collaboration with relevant entities to establish and develop laws that encourage and contribute to enhancing local content in the energy sector.Contributes to activities that ensure the existence of systems and regulations governing the localization rate and local content of companies affiliated with the energy ecosystem and related major projects, in order to achieve the localization and local content targets related to the energy sector under Saudi Vision 2030.Establishes mechanisms for working with relevant entities to develop a monitoring mechanism concerned with following up on projects that are required to meet specific localization and local content percentages.Adheres to the work rules and conduct, cybersecurity policies, and procedures applicable to the organizational unit.Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.Professional Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationProfessional certificate in Strategic ManagementRequired Experience:minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field.
