Senior Business System Analyst, Private Markets

Our client is seeking a Senior BSA/Business Systems Manager, Private Markets – Open to both levels in Boston, MA. This is a direct hire role and onsite 3 days per week.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead requirements gathering, documentation, and testing for partnership accounting and BI/reporting solutions supporting global private equity business needs.Translate complex fund accounting, reporting, and data requirements into actionable technical specifications.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance functionality across partnership accounting platforms (Investran, eFront, LemonEdge) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance between partnership accounting systems and downstream reporting/BI layers.Serve as a subject matter expert in partnership accounting and private fund/investor reporting, including fee and return calculations, financial statements, investor statements, ILPA reporting, and other key reporting deliverables for private funds.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.5+ years of business/systems analysis experience, including prior experience supporting buy-side/asset management or private equity firms.Hands-on experience with one or more partnership accounting systems such as Investran, eFront, or Lemon Edge.Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard design and data modeling.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
