Senior Business Systems Analyst Baltics (located in Riga, Tallinn or Kaunas)Business Intelligence & Supplier PortalPurpose of the PositionThe Senior Business Systems Analyst is a member of the Pan-Baltic Business Intelligence & Data Team and acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.The role is responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into clear and actionable requirements, and supporting the delivery of Business Intelligence, reporting, data and business application solutions across the Baltic organization.The position focuses primarily on Business Intelligence and data initiatives while also supporting the development and maintenance of selected business applications, including the Supplier Portal.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements EngineeringLead requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders.Analyze, document and manage business, functional, non-functional and data requirements.Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories and solution requirements.Facilitate discussions between business users, developers and external suppliers.Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.Assess impacts of requested changes across processes, reports, interfaces and systems.Agree with business stakeholders on key project deliverables, scope baselines, and acceptance criteria.Define and align with business users on the Definition of Done to ensure technical outputs meet quality and business expectations before release.Business Intelligence & ReportingSupport the development and enhancement of BI solutions, data warehouses and reporting platforms.Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to define reporting requirements, KPIs and business rules.Validate reporting logic and ensure consistency across reports and dashboards.Support adoption and continuous improvement of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and related analytics solutions.Participate in data quality and data governance initiatives.Assist business users in understanding reporting capabilities and analytical insights.Data AnalysisPerform data investigations and root cause analysis.Utilize SQL and analytical tools to validate business requirements and reported figures.Collaborate with technical teams on data mappings, integrations and transformations.Support testing and validation of data pipelines and reporting solutions.Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement through data-driven solutions.Supplier Portal & Business ApplicationsAct as Business Systems Analyst for Supplier Portal enhancements and maintenance.Collect, analyze and prioritize change requests from stakeholders.Support release planning, testing and deployment activities.Coordinate activities with internal IT teams and external vendors.Ensure business applications continue to meet business needs and operational requirements.Solution Delivery & TestingParticipate in projects and change initiatives from idea through implementation.Define acceptance criteria and testing scenarios.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Support go-live activities and post-implementation reviews.Monitor delivered solutions and proactively recommend improvements.Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with business users across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.Communicate solution options, risks and recommendations.Provide transparency regarding priorities, scope and delivery progress.Support knowledge transfer and end-user adoption of delivered solutions.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.Experience3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Data Analysis or related roles.Experience working with reporting, analytics or data warehouse solutions.Experience gathering, documenting and managing business requirements.Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups in a project environment.Experience supporting enterprise business applications and digital solutions.Technical SkillsMust haveStrong requirements engineering and business analysis skills.Good understanding of relational databases.SQL querying experience.Experience working with Power BI or similar reporting and business intelligence solutions.Experience with testing, validation and quality assurance activities.PreferredMicrosoft Fabric knowledge and experience.Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools.Understanding of ETL and data integration concepts.Personal CompetenciesStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent
