To learn more about Guardian, visit www.guardiancapital.com.JOB STATEMENT:We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as a key subject matter expert for our investment systems platforms, with primary responsibility for supporting and evolving Eagle Investment Systems STAR & PACE and related investment operations technologies.This role combines business analysis, production support, and continuous improvement responsibilities. The successful candidate will partner closely with Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure the stability, integrity, and evolution of critical investment platforms.The position offers an opportunity to contribute to platform evolution, support major business initiatives, and develop expertise across Guardian’s investment technology ecosystem.The ideal candidate combines deep investment management knowledge, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with business and technology teams in a long-term, strategic capacity. This role is well-suited for someone looking to build a lasting career in a mature asset management environment, with ownership of critical systems and opportunities for growth.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Investment Systems OwnershipServe as the primary business systems analyst supporting Eagle STAR & PACE, and related investment operations platforms Ensure the stability, integrity, and ongoing evolution of supported systemsPartner with the lead CRIMS Business Systems Analyst to provide cross-platform support and coverage across the investment technology ecosystem Provide platform expertise and act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders Business Analysis & Solution DeliveryPartner with Portfolio Management, Trading, Investment Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to understand business needs and prioritiesElicit, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, functional specifications, and data requirementsTranslate business requirements into system configurations, enhancements, integrations, and technical solutionsSupport project initiatives, system enhancements, upgrades, and strategic technology programsAct as a subject matter expert throughout analysis, testing, implementation, and post-deployment support activitiesPlatform Support & OperationsSupport Eagle STAR & PACE, including accounting, data management, automation, and related operational processesInvestigate and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending preventative improvementsSupport platform upgrades, vendor releases, testing activities, and production deploymentsMonitor and maintain interfaces, overnight processing, batch schedules, and operational controlsEnsure data quality and integrity across security master, pricing, corporate actions, accounting, performance, and reference data domainsWork closely with upstream and downstream system owners to ensure data accuracy and operational effectivenessTechnical & Data AnalysisDevelop and execute SQL queries for investigation, troubleshooting, validation, reconciliation, and reportingAnalyze data flows, integrations, and interfaces across investment systemsSupport system integrations, data mapping activities, and interface validationParticipate in user acceptance testing, release testing, and production validation activitiesPartner with technology teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve complex technical and data issuesDocumentation & Continuous ImprovementCreate and maintain business, technical, and operational documentation, including workflows, support procedures, data mappings, and knowledge articlesIdentify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, controls, data quality, and user experienceSupport knowledge sharing and cross-training initiatives to strengthen platform coverage and organizational resilienceContribute to the establishment of support standards, operational processes, and best practices across the investment systems landscapeQUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience supporting Eagle STAR and/or PACE within an asset management, investment management, or capital markets environmentExperience with Eagle Data Management, Automation Center, Accounting Center, or related Eagle modulesStrong understanding of front-to-back investment management and investment operations workflowsExperience supporting portfolio accounting, reference data, pricing, corporate actions, performance, and related investment data processesStrong SQL skills with experience performing data analysis, troubleshooting, and validationExperience supporting business-critical production systems in a regulated financial services environmentAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS), including OMS, compliance, trading, or investment operations workflowsExposure to multi-asset investment strategies, including equities, fixed income, and derivativesExperience with system implementations, upgrades, platform migrations, or major enhancement initiativesFamiliarity with market data providers such as Bloomberg or LSEG/RefinitivWHY JOIN:Permanent role with long-term ownership of critical investment platformsOpportunity to work closely with front-office, operations, and technology stakeholdersHigh-impact position supporting core asset management operations and strategic initiativesOpportunity to broaden expertise across Eagle, CRIMS, and the broader investment technology ecosystemCollaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth, cross-training, and career developmentCOMPENSATION:The base salary range is expected to be between $100,000 - $130,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.Please Note:All applications submitted are reviewed in detail by our HR team.
