قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSenior BuyerResponsible for the procurement of specialized items and executing buying complex strategies inaccordance with agreed upon material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship.Analyzes market and industry conditions and implements and develops alternate suppliersrecommendations. Typically purchases large weldments from machine shops in addition to allother items. Negotiates select contracts. Interacts with sales representatives and vendors. Maycoach lower-level Buyers. This is a senior level buyer who is typically directly responsible topurchase $10 to $25 million per year in raw materials/goods. Requires a Bachelors Degree and aminimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Primary Responsibilities:Production & Purchasing Execution: Serve as a point of contact for production purchasing;manage equipment production orders; analyze quotes, negotiate pricing and delivery terms,and expedite materials to prevent disruptions; provide backup support for Buyer as needed.Communicates product availability information to internal customersInventory & Materials Management: Develops/Maintains forecasting and demand planningmodel for purchased & manufactured products and materials; Generate and Track purchaseorders. Maintain accurate open PO lines. Oversee inventory control including productioninventory, cycle counting, and scrap tracking; align purchasing with production demand andinventory levels. Materials management using Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft D365Supplier Management & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; managesupplier relationships, resolve issues, drive cost savings and sourcing initiatives; PerformsMake v Buy analysis and recommend actions based on results.R&D & Cross-Functional Support: Support purchasing needs for R&D projects andcollaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and FinanceProcess Improvement & Projects: Lead process improvements, standardize documentation,and manage ad hoc projects that support operational efficiencyReporting & Analytics: Develop dashboards and KPI reports on purchasing, inventory, andsupplier performance; conduct root cause analysis and provide data-drivenrecommendations.Competencies:Strong negotiation and supplier management skillsSolid understanding of inventory management and production processesAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisionsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilitiesProficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office toolsAdvanced organizational skills are essential.Job Requirements:Bachelors degree in supply chain, Business, or related field requiredMinimum 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience requiredPrior experience in a manufacturing or production environment requiredExperience with inventory control, supplier negotiation, and production support requiredAPICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, or ISM certification preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsTravel 5%
