The Senior Buyer will manage and execute the procurement strategy, including sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring supply chain optimization. Responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, analyzing market trends, and evaluating supplier performance. Collaboration with internal teams, budget management, and ensuring on-time product delivery are key aspects of the role.QualificationsStrong procurement skills, including negotiation, vendor relationship management, and purchasing processesKnowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and demand forecastingExperience in analyzing market trends and cost managementProficient in ERP systems, data analysis tools, and ExcelFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in manufacturing or related industries is an advantageExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPosition ResponsibilityDevelops strategic business partnerships with key suppliers negotiating prices, quality, transportation, payment terms, and conditionsEvaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the best value to the Company with cost, service, quality, reliability, and relationship at the corePlaces purchase orders with suppliers and monitors adherence to delivery schedules. Reschedule orders based on forecast and requirement changes.Maintains communications externally with vendors and internally with manufacturing, sales, and logistics to predict and optimize the supply chainLeads the negotiation process of supplier agreements and ensures that contractual obligations are met.Pursues new vendor relationships, when necessary, and seeks to achieve the most profitable service from vendors.Manages inventory levels; adjusts orders as necessary to reduce excess inventory.Seeks opportunities to maximize procurement and purchasing efficiencies so as to support and increase the Company’s revenue and profitability.All other duties as assigned by management.Education: College degree preferredPreferred: ASCM certifications preferred          Experience:Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures Minimum of (5) years related buyer experience
