Senior C++ Developer

Ocean Consulting Services is building its Dubai technology team, and we are looking for a strong C++ developer to join as one of the first engineers in the office.This role is focused on developing Windows desktop applications, working close to the Windows environment, and building software that requires strong technical execution, performance awareness, and practical problem-solving.For the first people joining, this is an opportunity to have a real impact on building the foundation of a new technology team in Dubai, as part of a distributed technology organization working across regions.What you will doDevelop Windows desktop applications in C++.Build and maintain GUI applications using MFC, Qt, Windows API, and similar technologies.Work with Visual Studio as the main development environment.Analyze application performance statistics and identify areas for improvement.Work on networking-related components.Work with databases as part of the application flow.Investigate, debug, and solve technical issues in Windows applications.What we are looking forStrong hands-on experience with C++.Experience developing Windows applications using Microsoft Visual Studio.Experience creating graphical desktop applications.Experience with networking in C++.Experience working with databases.Ability to debug, analyze, and solve complex technical problems.Independent, practical, and ownership-driven working style.Nice to haveGood understanding of Windows OS principles.Experience with debuggers and troubleshooting application behavior.Experience with Windows API, STL, C#, or .NET Framework.Experience with MFC or Qt.Background in desktop products, utilities, system tools, or performance-sensitive If this sounds relevant, we would be happy to connect.
