Senior C#/.NET Full-Stack Developer | Investment Management Technology

A well-established alternative investment manager is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to join its technology team in New York.This is an opportunity to play a key role within a small, highly collaborative environment where technology sits at the heart of the business. You'll work directly with investment, operations and business stakeholders to build and enhance the platforms that support portfolio management, trading, risk, reporting and operational workflows.What You'll Be DoingDesigning, developing and supporting business-critical applications across front, middle and back-office functionsEnhancing portfolio management, order management, risk and reporting platformsDeveloping integrations with external financial systems, data providers and APIsSupporting and modernising existing applications while contributing to cloud migration initiativesWorking closely with end users to gather requirements and deliver practical solutionsTroubleshooting production issues and ensuring the stability of critical systemsContributing to Azure-based development, CI/CD and DevOps initiativesWhat We're Looking For7-12 years of software development experienceStrong C# and .NET development experienceAdvanced SQL Server and T-SQL skillsExperience building modern web applications using React and JavaScriptExperience with APIs, system integrations and distributed applicationsExposure to Azure, Azure DevOps and CI/CD practicesStrong problem-solving capability and a willingness to take ownershipExcellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with business usersHighly DesirableAsset management, hedge fund or broader financial services experienceExposure to OMS, portfolio management, trading or risk systemsFIX protocol experienceExperience supporting production environmentsKnowledge of legacy Microsoft technologies including WCF, Entity Framework, SSIS or SSRSExperience using modern AI-assisted development toolsWhy Join?This role offers genuine ownership and visibility within a lean technology team.
