This environment offers dental professionals and technicians the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and high-quality materials.Role Description The Senior CAD Designer/3shape Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lindon, UT. This role focuses on designing high-quality dental restorations using CAD software, with a primary emphasis on 3Shape design workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating precise digital models for crowns, bridges, implants, and other restorations, reviewing design specifications with technicians and clinicians, and ensuring designs meet aesthetic and functional standards. The role also involves training and mentoring team members in 3Shape and CAD best practices, developing standard operating procedures for digital workflows, and troubleshooting design or software issues. The Senior CAD Designer/3shape Trainer collaborates closely with lab leadership and production teams to support continuous improvement and maintain consistent quality across all cases.QualificationsStrong technical drawing and general drawing skills, with the ability to visualize and communicate complex dental restorations.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), particularly dental CAD platforms such as 3Shape, and experience creating detailed digital models.Experience interpreting and producing construction drawings or technical schematics relevant to dental prosthetics and lab workflows.Background in design engineering, preferably within dental, medical device, or precision manufacturing environments.Previous experience in a dental lab or dental technology setting, with a solid understanding of restorative and implant procedures.Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and support colleagues in CAD and digital design techniques.Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technicians, clinicians, and lab leadership.Relevant technical education or certification in dental technology, CAD, design, or a related field is preferred.
