More information is available on the Astek Saudi Arabia and UAE country pages, and candidates can reach Astek Middle East at contact-astekme@astek-international.com.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior CAFM Specialist to support the management, configuration, and optimization of Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) and Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) used across facility management and energy efficiency operations in Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on maintaining accurate facility and asset data, supporting operations and maintenance activities, generating system reports, and optimizing CAFM workflows to improve facility performance and asset lifecycle management.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, manage, and maintain CAFM/IWMS platforms to support facility management and O&M operations.Maintain accurate facility asset records, maintenance schedules, work orders, and related data.Validate and update asset and facility information within CAFM systems.Generate reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support operational and management decision-making.Coordinate with project teams, facility managers, and operations teams to ensure accurate asset inventories and maintenance plans.Provide technical support and user training for CAFM system users across multiple sites.Support integration of CAFM systems with ERP, BMS, GIS, BIM, or other enterprise platforms.Identify opportunities to improve CAFM workflows, data quality, and system utilization.Support data migration, system configuration, and user access management.Assist with facility management documentation, asset registers, and project lifecycle records.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in CAFM, IWMS, CMMS, or facility management.Candidates with extensive experience, including 10+ years, are encouraged to apply.Professional experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.Demonstrated experience supporting projects, facility operations, or system implementation.Valid SCE registration and membership if holding an engineering qualification, where applicable.Professional accreditation relevant to CAFM, facility management, or the role is an advantage.Strong analytical and data management skills.Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.Required SkillsHands-on experience with CAFM/IWMS platforms such as IBM Maximo, Archibus, Planon, FM, or equivalent.Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Understanding of CMMS concepts, including preventive maintenance, work orders, and asset lifecycle management.Experience with data migration, system configuration, and user access management.Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Information Modeling (BIM), or Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an advantage.Experience generating CAFM reports, dashboards, and operational KPIs.Preferred SkillsCertified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent facility management certification.ITIL Foundation certification.Experience in energy services, real estate, or government facility management.Experience supporting multiple facility or project sites in Saudi Arabia.Familiarity with IoT-enabled smart building technologies and CAFM integrations.Experience with enterprise system integrations such as ERP, BMS, BIM, or GIS.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced CAFM Specialist with strong technical and analytical capabilities, attention to data accuracy, and the ability to work effectively across facility management, technical, and operational teams.
