We are seeking an experienced, hands-on senior repair manager with strong knowledge of iPhone and iPad hardware.This position will lead the repair department, providing day-to-day direction and technical support to other repair technicians while remaining actively involved in repairs. You will be the primary point of contact for complex repairs, difficult diagnostics, and technical issues requiring advanced troubleshooting.This is a repair-focused production position with no retail sales, counter duties, sales quotas, or customer-facing responsibilities. You will work in a high-volume refurbishing and manufacturing environment with established productivity, quality, and testing standards.This position goes beyond routine part replacement. The right candidate can identify the likely cause of a device failure, determine the appropriate repair, and work through unfamiliar problems independently while maintaining efficiency and repair quality.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair iPhones and iPads.Provide day-to-day leadership and technical direction to repair technicians.Serve as the go-to technician for complex repairs, difficult diagnostics, repeat failures, and devices other technicians are unable to successfully repair.Train, mentor, and support technicians on repair techniques, troubleshooting, quality expectations, and department procedures.Monitor technician productivity and repair quality and provide coaching or additional training when needed.Identify technician performance issues, training needs, workflow bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve department efficiency.Replace screens, batteries, cameras, charging-port assemblies, housings, speakers, buttons, flex cables, and other internal components.Complete full housing replacements and internal-component transfers.Troubleshoot devices with previous repairs, liquid exposure, frame damage, missing components, multiple failures, or probable board-level issues.Perform complete post-repair functional testing and cosmetic inspection.Meet established productivity and quality standards. For a standard mix of routine repairs, the target is 30 or more completed devices per day. Expectations are adjusted for full housing replacements, complex diagnostics, repair difficulty, and device condition.Document repairs, parts usage, parts inventory, and technical findings accurately.Maintain an organized, clean, and ESD-safe repair station.Work with quality control to identify recurring failures and improve repair procedures and workflows.Required QualificationsAt least three (3) years of professional iPhone and iPad repair or refurbishment experience.Experience in a high-volume mobile-device refurbishment, depot-repair, wholesale-device-processing, or similar production environment.Ability to independently diagnose, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test iPhones and iPads.Hands-on experience with screens, batteries, cameras, charging-port assemblies, housings, full housing replacements, internal-component transfers, and other common repairs.Strong troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing problems that are not resolved through routine part replacement.Demonstrated ability to meet production expectations while maintaining consistent repair quality.Experience leading, training, mentoring, or providing day-to-day direction to other repair technicians.Ability to coach technicians, address technical or performance issues, and hold team members accountable to established productivity and quality standards.Ability to serve as the department's technical escalation point for difficult or unusual repairs.Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and parts-management skills.Dependable attendance and availability for the stated schedule.Preferred QualificationsExperience using Phonecheck or similar device-testing and quality-control software.Relevant repair or electronics certification.Experience documenting repair procedures, improving technical workflows, or supporting advanced diagnostic cases.Pay and BenefitsStarting pay of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience.Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Two weeks of paid time off (PTO) and six paid holidays.Overtime opportunities.Eligibility for performance-based bonuses and incentives.Physical RequirementsAbility to perform detailed and repetitive hand work using small tools and electronic components.Ability to perform close visual inspections and maintain focus during detailed repair work.Ability to sit or stand at a repair workstation for extended periods.Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.Employment EligibilityWe participate in E-Verify.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are an equal opportunity employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
