As a budget owner you will play a pivotal role in maximizing cargo earnings, vessel earnings and expanding our business footprint in the international dry bulk market. This role presents a distinctive platform to capitalize on your market acumen, negotiation prowess, and industry connections to enhance profitability and cultivate enduring strategic alliances.Key Responsibilities1. Business Development:As professional ship operator in the market, must have ability to fix the voyage and ensure the voyage profit.Proactively develop and expand our network with key players in the international dry bulk sector, including cargo owners, ship owners.2. Voyage Planning & Chartering Solutions:Design and propose competitive chartering solutions for full-ship cargoes, integrating market conditions, cargo specifications, and transportation requirements.3. Contract Negotiation & Execution:Lead the entire fixture process for TCT (Time Charter Trip) and TC (Time Charter) contracts, selecting the optimal charter party form based on business needs.Negotiate, review, and finalize charter party agreements with counterparties (owners/charterers), securing the most favorable terms to protect and maximize company interests.Possess thorough familiarity with voyage and time charter contracts.4. Market Analysis & Strategy:Conduct in-depth research and analysis of dry bulk market intelligence, including supply/demand dynamics, freight rate trends, and vessel segment performance.Identify market opportunities and risks to formulate data-driven chartering strategies for maximizing vessel profitability.5. Post-Fixture Support:Collaborate closely with the Operations team to monitor voyage execution.Promptly and effectively address any disputes or unforeseen events during the voyage, applying knowledge of shipping law and standard charter party clauses.Key QualificationsDeep Expertise: Be familiar with dry bulk Market; 8+ years of relevant working experience in shipping prefer dry bulk.In-depth knowledge of dry bulk market dynamics, macroeconomic factors, trade routes, cargo flows, and global broker networks.Good interpersonal communication skills and teamwork spirit.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a self-driven, results-oriented approach, characterized by high self-motivation, sincere responsibility, and the ability to think and act independently under pressure.Good determination to make decisions.Fluent in EnglishWe OfferA competitive salary package commensurate with experience.A motivating and performance-driven commission/bonus structure.Vibrant work culture with regular team-building.
