As we continue expanding across Saudi Arabia, we’re looking for an experienced accounting professional to lead our day-to-day accounting operations and strengthen our financial processes.As Chief Accountant, you will oversee accounting activities, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and manage month-end and year-end closing. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance, improve internal controls, and deliver timely financial insights.🔑 What You’ll OwnOversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliationsLead month-end and year-end closing processesReview journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedulesPrepare accurate financial statements and management reportsMaintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper transaction classificationEnsure compliance with IFRS, VAT, ZATCA, and applicable local requirementsManage cash flow reporting and support budgeting and forecasting activitiesStrengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial proceduresCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other stakeholdersSupport the implementation and improvement of accounting and ERP systemsGuide accounting team members and review the quality of their workProvide financial insights and recommendations to management✅ What You’ll Bring4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience overseeing accounting operationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi financial and tax requirementsSolid experience in financial reporting, closing, and general ledger accountingStrong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systemsAbility to manage priorities, lead processes, and meet reporting deadlinesProfessional accounting certification such as SOCPA, CPA, or ACCA is a plusFluent in English (Arabic is a plus)🚀 Why Join Us?You’ll be joining a fast-growing prop-tech company scaling rapidly across Saudi Arabia, where the finance function plays a central role in enabling sustainable growth.
