Senior Chinese Localization Project Manager

GPI is currently recruiting a Senior Chinese Localization Project Manager based in Dubai to join our team. This is a full-time position that allows you to work from home and virtually with other team members. GPI is looking for professionals who are passionate about translation and project management and becoming better personally and professionally. GPI has a comprehensive professional development training program fully paid for on a range of topics, including PM and AI.About the PositionThe Project Manager will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s successful completion, including client calls, organization, and timeline. You must have solid experience in using Microsoft Excel, Teams, and the usual CAT tools. Candidates must have good English writing skills and be able to draft project reports, including status and post-mortems. A successful candidate will also need to conduct professional kick-off calls and ongoing client meetings as needed.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of corporate and technology projects.Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders.Ensure resource availability and allocation.Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, report on project metrics, and map key project dates to manage workflow.Conduct all client-facing calls from project kick-offs through post-mortems.Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.Prepare contingency planning for all projects.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Assist in the development and execution of standard operating procedures, processes, and quality improvements.Use our TMS to manage all aspects of translation projects.Skills & Experience we are looking forBachelor’s degree and/or Master's in a business-related discipline.4 + years of proven working experience as a translation project manager. Analytical & Technology Skills:Good understanding of software and web technologies.High-level competency with Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and Teams.Ability to grasp applications and high-level technical information.Good problem-solving skills along with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.Excellent skills to be the L10n expert and advise teams and clients on translation best practices.Interpersonal Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget.Ability to deal with ambiguity and work effectively in a matrix environment.Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Benefits:Paid Professional Development after 6 months and management approvalCan work from any location in the worldSabbatical and extended unpaid leave with management approvalPaid holidays, vacation, and wellness bonus daysTravel to the UK, EU, and UAE as desiredComp + KPI Based Bonus based on projects managedUp to $5000 USD in professional development courses, tuition, and career track training on a range of PM, AI, and Localization topics. How to apply?To apply for this position, please click on the "Apply" button and follow the instructions provided by LinkedIn.OREmail us an introduction at careers@globalizationpartners.com to apply.
