Apply & track with Apply EdgeA leading international construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Consultant to join its growing team in Saudi Arabia.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially and contractually astute professional with strong experience in construction claims, disputes and contract administration. The successful candidate will ideally have a Quantity Surveying background with a Tier 1 main contractor and will be looking to further develop their career within a specialist claims environment.SummaryYou will be involved in the preparation, assessment and management of contractual claims across major construction projects. Key responsibilities will include:Reviewing project records, contractual information and contemporaneous documentation to assess entitlement and validity of claims.Undertaking and reviewing time impact analyses and supporting delay assessments.Preparing clear, robust and well-structured claim narratives and associated documentation.Working closely with project and site teams to develop and substantiate claims.Assessing contractual entitlement and commercial implications.Supporting the negotiation and resolution of claims with employers, contractors and other project stakeholders.Providing advice on contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.Assisting with the administration and management of contracts and disputes.RequirementsDegree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction, Engineering, Law or another relevant discipline.Strong experience in claims preparation and/or claims consultancy, ideally gained within major construction or Oil & Gas projects.Solid Quantity Surveying, commercial management or contract administration background.Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors or leading construction claims consultancies would be advantageous.Previous Middle East experience is preferred.MRICS and/or MCIArb qualification would be advantageous, although candidates working towards either qualification will also be considered.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation abilities.A thorough understanding of construction contracts and commercial principles.This is an immediate requirement offering long-term career prospects with a highly regarded international organisation and the opportunity to work on major projects in Saudi Arabia.If you have strong claims and disputes experience and are interested in developing your career within an established international consultancy, please apply via this website.Reference: RB1603
