Involves in research and staff education and development.We are seeking a qualified candidate with proven expertise in advanced wound and ostomy care, with demonstrated competency in the following:
- Complex Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) application and troubleshooting.
- Fistula isolation and effluent management.
- Complex ostomy pouching and management of difficult pouching situations.
- Complex preoperative stoma-site assessment and marking.
- Limb salvage and management of complex diabetic/ischemic wounds.
- Assessment and management of atypical and complex wounds.
- Clinical and evidence-based evaluation of wound and ostomy products.Education Required: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.Years of Experience Required: Four (4) years of nursing experience with Master’s, or six (6) years of with Bachelor’s Degree.Preferably holding specialty certification covering (wound care and ostomy) such as:Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB).American Board of Wound Management (ABWM).National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).
