Senior Cloud Systems Engineer Hampshire / Dorset Permanent | Hybrid £50,000 - £55,000Are you a Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft infrastructure and cloud experience?We're looking for an experienced engineer to join a technically diverse environment, taking a leading role in the design, implementation and support of complex server and cloud infrastructure.This is a hands-on senior position where you'll combine technical engineering with project delivery, solution design and customer engagement.What you'll be doingLead the technical delivery of complex infrastructure projectsDesign, implement and maintain Microsoft server and cloud solutionsWork directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and scope technical solutionsProduce high- and low-level technical designs, project documentation and implementation plansProvide technical input into estimates, Statements of Work and change requestsConfigure and deploy infrastructure in line with agreed designsProvide advanced troubleshooting and technical problem resolutionSupport live environments, including planned maintenance and incident resolutionManage service transition, documentation and knowledge transfer into support teamsIdentify opportunities to improve infrastructure, processes and operational proceduresTake ownership of technical tasks from initial scoping through to successful deliveryTechnical expertise we're looking forYou'll ideally have 5+ years' experience in a senior infrastructure/systems engineering role, working with Microsoft technologies within complex enterprise environments.Microsoft Server & InfrastructureActive Directory Domain Services (AD DS)Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) / PKIWindows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and/or 2025Hyper-V, including clustered and standalone environments Spectrum IT Recruitment (South) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
