Apply & track with Apply EdgeFuze HR Solutions is partnering with an established aerospace manufacturer to hire an experienced Senior CNC Programmer with a strong background in high-precision, complex machining.This is a direct-hire, hands-on role for someone who is highly experienced with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining, CNC Mill-Turn, CNC Lathes, and Mastercam. You’ll have the opportunity to work on complex aerospace components, optimize machining processes, and bring your programming expertise to a team focused on quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
CNC Programming & SetupDevelop, test, and debug CNC programs using G-code and M-code.Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC Mills and Lathes with live tooling.Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and tool lists.Use Mastercam to create computer models and CNC programs.Maintain accurate job records and program files.Edit and optimize programs directly at the machine control.Process Improvement:Optimize machining processes to improve cycle times, efficiency, and cost.Analyze feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to eliminate unnecessary machine movements.Evaluate cutting tools and machining techniques.Perform tooling cost analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.Analyze drawings and design data to determine the best tooling and machining parameters.Assist with the design of custom tools and fixtures when needed.Support the implementation of new machining technologies and processes.Collaboration & Quality:Work closely with Manufacturing, Tooling, Quality, and Production teams.Work directly with machinists on the shop floor to prove out and refine programs.Troubleshoot and revise programs to ensure efficient production.Ensure finished parts meet blueprint requirements and tight dimensional tolerances.Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) throughout the manufacturing process.Required Experience5+ years of CNC programming experience, preferably in aerospace or another high-precision manufacturing environment.5+ years of hands-on Mastercam experience.3–5+ years of CNC machining, setup, and operation experience.Strong experience programming and machining with: 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axisCNC Mill-TurnCNC Lathes with live toolingAbility to edit and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine control.Strong understanding of G-code and M-code.Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.Strong knowledge of GD&T.Experience using precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges and other precision measurement toolsExperience machining a variety of Aerospace materials, including:InconelTitaniumStainless SteelAluminum alloysFerrous alloysCopper alloysDelrinNylonOther non-metallic materialsSoftware Experience Required:MastercamSoftware Experience Preferred:CATIASolidWorksWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Self-motivated and organizedHighly detail-orientedComfortable working hands-on in a manufacturing environmentStrong at problem-solving and process improvementFocused on quality and precisionA strong communicatorCollaborative and team-orientedComfortable working across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Manufacturing teamsPay & Benefits:$35.00–$50.00+ per hour DOEBenefits include:MedicalDentalVisionLife Insurance401(k)Paid Sick LeaveEarned Paid Vacation LeaveMust meet ITAR requirementsWhy Work with Fuze HR?At Fuze HR, we connect talented professionals with some of the top companies in the U.S. We offer weekly pay via direct deposit, a supportive office team, and a genuine commitment to your success.If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you!Apply online today!Fuze HR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
