Team members join a growing organization with opportunities to work on complex, high-value engineering projects.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kedah, Malaysia for a Senior CNC Programmer / Machinist. The role involves programming CNC machines (including multi-axis machining centers and lathes) using technical drawings and CAM/CNC software to produce high-precision components. Daily tasks include setting up machines, selecting tools, optimizing machining parameters, performing trial runs, and adjusting programs to achieve dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements. The Senior CNC Programmer / Machinist is responsible for inspecting parts, troubleshooting machining issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role also includes collaborating with engineering and production teams, providing guidance to junior machinists, and contributing to continuous improvement of machining processes.Qualifications Strong CNC Programming and Programming skills for multi-axis machining centers and lathes.Advanced Machining and Milling skills, including machine setup, tool selection, and process optimization.Proficiency in reading and interpreting Technical Drawing, including GD&T and engineering specifications.Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens or similar) and CAM software is highly beneficial.Background in precision manufacturing for sectors such as automotive, electronics, medical devices, or related industries is an advantage.Solid understanding of machining materials (metals, alloys, technical plastics) and cutting parameters.Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.Ability to work on-site in Kedah, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor less experienced machinists.
