SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Collections Officer to manage and collect overdue repayments from business customers of an innovative Australian fintech.You will manage a portfolio of customers with accounts in arrears, negotiate payment arrangements, resolve account queries and disputes, and contribute to improvements in collections performance.The successful candidate will bring substantial collections experience, including essential experience collecting from small and medium-sized enterprises.Key DutiesManage a portfolio of customers with accounts in arrears, tracking overdue repayments and following up payment commitmentsContact customers by telephone, email, SMS and other approved channels to collect outstanding amounts and negotiate payment arrangementsIssue relevant customer notices accurately and within required timeframesRespond to email correspondence promptly, accurately and professionallyInvestigate and resolve account queries and disputes, escalating matters where required Maintain accurate and current records of collections activity, customer communications and agreed payment arrangementsBuild respectful customer relationships that support effective collections and customer retentionWork with sales, customer service and other internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve the collections process Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies that improve collections performanceSkills & ExperienceMinimum four years’ collections experienceSME collections experience essentialConfident spoken and written EnglishStrong negotiation skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations respectfully and professionallyStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced collections environmentProficiency with computers and Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of the Australian regulatory environment desirableAttributesProfessional, respectful and customer focusedOrganised and attentive to detailPersistent and proactive in following up outstanding paymentsCalm and constructive when handling challenging conversationsSound judgement and a strong sense of accountabilityCollaborative and committed to improving team performanceWe’re OfferingCompetitive remuneration of up to PHP 58,000 per month, based on skills and experienceAttractive allowances and benefitsA friendly and supportive team environmentMonday–Friday schedule, 8:30 am–5:30 pm Sydney timeOnsite role at ESC’s office on ADB Avenue,
