⚓ SENIOR COMBAT SYSTEMS INSTALLATION ENGINEER ⚓📍 Abu Dhabi, UAE🛡️ Defence🚀 Immediate Requirement💰 Competitive Expatriate PackageA leading defence organisation in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Combat Systems Installation Engineer to support the delivery of complex naval vessel programmes.The position requires a senior engineer with hands-on experience taking combat and mission systems from engineering through onboard installation, integration, setting-to-work, commissioning and final acceptance.The Role:🔱 Lead and coordinate the installation of combat and mission systems aboard naval vessels.🔱 Ensure equipment installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, interface requirements and OEM standards.🔱 Coordinate interfaces between combat systems, ship systems, electrical systems, cabling and platform engineering.🔱 Work with weapons, radar, sensors, communications, navigation, EW and CMS equipment.🔱 Support equipment installation inspections and technical troubleshooting onboard vessels.🔱 Coordinate setting-to-work and systems integration activities.🔱 Identify and resolve installation and interface issues during vessel construction.🔱 Support FAT, HAT, SAT, commissioning and sea trials.🔱 Liaise with shipyard production, engineering teams, OEMs, suppliers and subcontractors.🔱 Drive systems through to technical acceptance and vessel delivery.Requirements:⚙️ Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems, Marine Engineering or a related discipline.⚙️ Significant experience in naval combat systems installation and/or integration.⚙️ Strong understanding of shipboard combat and mission-system architecture.⚙️ Experience with combinations of CMS, radar, weapons, communications, navigation, EW, EO/IR or other naval sensors.⚙️ Strong understanding of equipment interfaces, cabling, power, data and physical installation requirements.⚙️ Experience with setting-to-work, commissioning and acceptance testing.⚙️ HAT, SAT and sea-trial experience strongly preferred.⚙️ Previous experience on frigates, corvettes, OPVs or other complex naval vessels highly desirable.Candidates must be willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
