Senior Commercial Manager

Skilled Careers is partnering with one of the UAE's leading Tier One construction contractors to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager for a prestigious AED 1 billion luxury hospitality development in Abu Dhabi. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role on one of the region's most significant projects, joining a business with an exceptional reputation for delivering complex, high-value developments across the Gulf.Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead all commercial and contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring commercial success while protecting the company's contractual position.Responsibilities:Lead the commercial and contractual management of a AED 1 billion hospitality development.Manage project cost control, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, claims, variations and extensions of time.Ensure compliance with contract conditions and protect the company's commercial interests.Lead dispute avoidance and resolution strategies.Provide strategic commercial advice to senior project leadership.Mentor and develop the commercial team while maintaining the highest professional standards.Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.Requirements:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.Extensive experience working for leading main contractors within the Gulf region.Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale building developments, ideally hospitality, mixed-use, high-rise or major residential projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial management principles.Proven ability to lead commercial teams on projects valued in excess of AED 500 million.Excellent contract writing skillsExcellent contract administration, claims management and negotiation skills.Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.What's on Offer:Join one of the UAE's most respected Tier One contractors.Take ownership of a flagship AED 1 billion hospitality project.Work alongside an experienced leadership team on a landmark development.Long-term career progression with a business delivering some of the region's most iconic projects.Competitive tax-free salary package, performance incentives and comprehensive benefits.Immediate start available.If you're an experienced Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager with a strong background delivering major building projects for Tier One contractors across the Gulf, we'd be delighted to discuss this opportunity with you in complete confidence.
