The company also operates the RNB Boutique Hotel in Hulhumalé, near Velana International Airport, further expanding its footprint in the hospitality sector.Role Description The Senior Commercial Manager is a full-time, hybrid position based in Malé, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for driving commercial performance across tour operations, resort partnerships, and destination management services, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and revenue optimization. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing business plans, analyzing market trends and performance data, managing key resort and supplier relationships, and overseeing contract terms to maximize profitability and compliance. The Senior Commercial Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align commercial strategies with company goals and customer expectations. The role also includes leading and mentoring a commercial team, setting performance targets, and ensuring efficient processes that support sustainable growth in a competitive luxury travel market.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills, with experience in pricing, negotiations, and supplier relationship management.Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities, including data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and market analysis.Candidates should possess proven Team Management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving performance in a commercial or travel-focused environment.Relevant experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, ideally within luxury or high-end segments, is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Tourism Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification in a commercial discipline is an advantage.Strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus), and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under time and budget constraints.Comfort with using CRM, reservation systems, and analytical tools to monitor performance and support commercial decision-making.
