Senior Compliance Analyst

We are working with a major international law firm to hire a Senior Compliance Analyst. In this role you will take ownership of complex risk matters, handling end-to-end client onboarding while evaluating anti-money laundering requirements and resolving conflicts of interest across the firm's global network.The firm is looking for an experienced compliance specialist with a minimum of 5 years of dedicated risk and client onboarding experience. Candidates must possess deep technical expertise in analysing high-risk onboarding matters, including sanctions screening, source of wealth, and source of funds verification. The ideal candidate will combine dual exposure across both conflicts and anti-money laundering with the confidence and communication skills needed to advise stakeholders, support junior colleagues, and manage complex compliance workflows effectively.The responsibilities will include:Managing complex client onboarding workflows, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards and firm policies across international jurisdictions.Conducting thorough anti-money laundering checks, evaluating customer due diligence, and assessing high-risk ownership structures.Performing detailed sanctions screening, adverse media assessments, and source of wealth or funds verification on high-risk files.Executing conflict checks, evaluating potential ethical or commercial issues, and proposing clear resolutions to internal partners.Advising fee earners and internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance obligations, risk policies, and matter inception procedures.Assisting with the creation and maintenance of information barriers and confidential risk management protocols.Mentoring junior team members, sharing technical knowledge, and serving as a point of escalation for complex risk inquiries.Supporting continuous operational improvements across onboarding technologies, internal risk registers, and compliance systems.Please apply today to register your interest in this position.Ref: 1562
