Senior Compliance Controller

With more than 1200 consultants across 10 countries, we combine business and IT expertise to support leading institutions in transformation projects.Our core areas:➡Quantitative Finance➡Risk & Compliance➡Operations & Finance➡Transformation & Organization➡ Information Systems.🔎 We are looking for a Senior Compliance ControllerMain TasksExecute annual and ad-hoc Compliance Control Testing.Conduct compliance reviews and quality assurance over Level 1 controls.Liaise with Compliance, Business, 1LOD and regional stakeholders throughout the review process.Review and enhance compliance control checklists and frameworks.Lead and monitor the remediation of identified compliance issues.Maintain compliance documentation and evidence in the relevant repository.Support the annual Non-Compliance Risk Assessment (NCRA).Contribute to Compliance projects and process improvement initiatives.Support the production of Management Information and reporting.Identify and escalate issues to management and the wider Compliance organization.Main Skills & Requirements3+ years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, Risk, Controls or related areas.Experience in Compliance Controls, Internal Controls and Control Testing.Knowledge of Market Abuse regulations/frameworks.Knowledge of MiFID and European regulatory frameworks.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to identify, manage and remediate compliance risks/issues.Ability to drive continuous improvement and positive change.Experience with risk assessments, governance and regulatory documentation.Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Compliance or Risk.Porto preferred; Lisbon considered with occasional travel to Porto.Professional proficiency in English🎁 WHAT WE OFFERThis role offers a gross annual salary between 15.000€ to 38.500€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.Permanent contract (CTI).Meal allowance.Health Insurance.Extra holiday: Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.Access to Quanteam Academy for continuous learning and certifications.Elevate Program to support professional development and career growth.Career progression plan.Ongoing follow-up and technical support provided by a Consultant Expert.📍 Hybrid position based in Porto OR Lisbon* Porto preferred; Lisbon considered with occasional travel to Porto.🚀If you feel this opportunity is for you, send your CV and join our team!
