About UsAvenir Group is a pioneering investment group dedicated to strategically integrating traditional finance with digital assets — as Asia’s largest institutional Bitcoin ETF holder — building a leading global financial ecosystem through Investment, Incubation, and Operations in digital assets, trading & financial platforms, PayFi infrastructure, and Real World Assets (RWA).About the RoleKey ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing securities, financial services, Web3 and digital asset-related licensing applications, maintenance and regulatory matters across Hong Kong and other global jurisdictions, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.Support end-to-end licensing projects across different regulatory frameworks, including preparation of application materials, regulatory submissions, follow-up with regulators, and coordination of approval processes.Manage licensing and regulatory initiatives covering regulated financial activities, including securities, asset management, digital assets, virtual asset businesses and other emerging financial services.Coordinate with regulatory authorities, external legal advisors, professional service providers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate licensing applications and regulatory projects.Prepare, review and maintain licensing documents, regulatory submissions, compliance policies, procedures and supporting materials required by regulators.Monitor regulatory developments across key jurisdictions, assess the impact on business operations and licensing obligations, and support implementation of regulatory requirements.Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product, Operations and Business teams to ensure regulatory requirements are effectively incorporated into business processes and operational frameworks.Support regulatory inspections, licensing reviews, compliance assessments and regulatory inquiries, including preparation of responses and follow-up on remediation actions.Maintain licensing records, regulatory trackers and internal documentation systems to ensure effective management of regulatory obligations.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines.3-7 years of experience in compliance, licensing, regulatory affairs or related roles within financial institutions, fintech companies, digital asset firms, securities firms, banks or professional advisory firms.Hands-on experience in financial services or digital asset licensing applications and regulatory processes, including but not limited to:Securities and financial services licensesDigital asset / Web3-related regulatory licensesHong Kong SFC regulated activitiesDubai VARA, Bermuda or other international regulatory frameworksStrong understanding of regulatory processes and requirements, with practical experience in regulatory communication, documentation preparation and project execution.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to independently handle regulatory documents, submissions and correspondence.Strong execution and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory initiatives and deliver high-quality outcomes within timelines.Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting licensing applications, regulatory approvals or ongoing compliance obligations in Hong Kong or other international jurisdictions.Experience with regulated financial businesses, including securities, asset management, payments, digital assets or fintech platforms.Prior experience working in law firms, Big Four regulatory advisory teams, regulatory consulting firms or licensed financial institutions.Familiarity with global digital asset regulatory developments and emerging regulatory frameworks.
