They are hiring a Senior Compliance Manager to own and run the compliance programme for Hong Kong and Taiwan. This is a hands-on, in-house role focusing on prevention: building controls that work in practice, not just on paper.You will be the main compliance lead for the markets and run day-to-day compliance work, carry out audits and spot checks when necessary, and lead investigations into whistleblowing cases. You will also be a trusted advisor to the business. The role suits someone with a practical, commercial mindset who can manage risk properly while supporting how the business operates. You will also contribute to regional and cross-border compliance projects when needed.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the compliance framework for HK and Taiwan, making sure policies and controls work well and fit each market's regulationsRun key integrity processes, including conflict of interest declarations, gifts and hospitality approvals, and sponsorship reviewsCarry out risk-based reviews and site checks across operations to find gaps and lead the fixesHandle whistleblowing cases from start to finish - plan the investigation, interview the people involved, gather evidence and report findingsWork closely with Legal, HR, Finance and Internal Audit on outcomes and findingsAdvise business leaders on day-to-day compliance questions and support decisions with a practical, commercial viewDesign/ revamp the existing compliance training programme and ensure the staff are equipped with up-to-date compliance knowledgeContribute to regional projects with the Asia compliance team and share best practice across marketsSkills and RequirementsDegree in Law, Finance, Risk Management or a related field. CPA, LLB/LLM, CCEP, CFE or ACAMS is a strong plus8+ years in compliance, legal, audit or investigations at a multinational, Big 4 / accounting firm or law firm, with solid in-house experience preferredProven experience running corporate investigations, handling whistleblowing cases and putting risk management systems in placePractical, commercial approach to compliance in a matrixed multinationalConfident communicator who can present to and influence senior leaders and work well across culturesFluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a mustWilling to travel often between Hong Kong and TaiwanTo apply:If you believe you meet the above requirements and have the passion and drive to excel in this role, we invite you to submit your application.
