Senior Compliance Officer - AIFM

Our client, a leading international private equity firm, is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join their Luxembourg-based AIFM team. The role offers an excellent platform for professional growth in a dynamic and international environment.Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and ongoing execution of the AIFM’s Compliance Monitoring Plan and related second-line controls.Assist in identifying and assessing regulatory developments that impact the AIFM and its managed funds.Contribute to the drafting, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and internal registers.Monitor delegated activities and coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.Support AML/CFT-related processes, including risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and due diligence reviews.Assist in preparing reports for Conducting Officers, internal committees, and senior management.Contribute to cross-border compliance initiatives to strengthen the firm’s global compliance framework.Help manage responses to investor and regulator due diligence requests.Participate in projects aimed at improving automation, data management, and reporting efficiency.Collaborate closely with compliance colleagues in other jurisdictions to ensure consistency across the group.Your ProfileUniversity degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field.At least 4 years of experience in compliance, regulatory consulting, or internal audit within financial services.Sound understanding of Luxembourg AIFM regulations.Exposure to global or cross-border regulatory topics is an advantage.Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.Tech-savvy and comfortable working with data, systems, and process automation tools.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across jurisdictions.Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.If this opportunity feels right for you, we’d love to hear from you.Kindly note that a valid Luxembourg work permit is required for consideration.All applications are handled with the utmost confidentiality, feel free to review our privacy policy on our website.We are proud to be an equal opportunity recruitment firm and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
