Senior Compliance Officer | DubaiInternational Law Firm | Permanent OpportunityCompetitive Salary + Relocation (Depending On Experience) | Hybrid WorkingSunday-Thursday Working PatternOur client, a top international law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced AML & Legal Conflicts professional to join them on a permanent basis in their stunning Dubai offices – working as their new Senior Compliance Officer.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience dealing with client and matters in the Middle East – focusing on both AML and Legal Conflicts.The firm WILL consider candidates who are looking to relocate from the UK, however, they will need to have experience dealing with clients/matters from the Middle East.As the successful Senior Compliance Officer you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:Acting as the initial point of contact for escalation queries (AML, Conflicts, CDD, etc)Advising Fee-Earners on information and documentation to complete CDDAnalysing conflict search results and resolving conflictsEnsuring Compliance Officers/the wider team apply a consistent approach to AML, Conflicts and Business Acceptance processesAssist with the drafting and reviewing of Business Acceptance policiesAssist with lateral hire searchesDeliver Business Acceptance training to Fee-Earners and support staffPlus much more.To be considered for this opportunity, you must have/be the following:Have extensive experience in both AML and Legal Conflicts (4+ years’ from a LAW FIRM)Be already based in Dubai, or, be open to relocation from the UK and also have experience dealing with clients/matters from the Middle EastBe able to commit to the working pattern of Sunday-ThursdayHave experience using IntappFor more information on this position and to review an in-depth job description, get in touch as soon as possible.
