Senior Compliance Officer

Role Description The Senior Compliance Officer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies and procedures aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring regulatory changes, performing risk and compliance assessments, reviewing contracts and internal processes for compliance, and supporting audits and inspections. The Senior Compliance Officer will collaborate with leadership, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and company policies, and provide training and guidance on compliance best practices. The role also involves preparing reports for management, handling compliance-related inquiries, and recommending corrective actions to address identified issues.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Compliance Management skills, including experience designing and overseeing compliance frameworks and internal controls.Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, particularly in healthcare, diagnostics, or laboratory services, and familiarity with relevant international and local regulations.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret complex regulations, assess risks, analyze data, and develop practical compliance solutions.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to prepare clear documentation, deliver training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to understand the compliance implications of financial processes, budgeting, and reporting.Relevant experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, or a related regulated industry is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field; professional certification in compliance or risk management is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity, and operate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
