Senior Compliance Specialist

Geo-Jade Petroleum – South Basra Integrated Project (SBIPRO) is seeking an experienced ( Expat Candidate )Senior Compliance Specialist with 10 years solid Oil & Gas experience . This role works with CPL on Daily / or rotation basis based in Basra Iraq.Report directly to the Compliance Section Head of the Contracts & Procurement Department; assist the Department Head in establishing and maintaining a compliance management framework, and ensure that departmental operations align with corporate policies, local laws and regulations, and international sanctions requirements.Strictly oversee the compliance of the entire contract procurement lifecycle (including tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and execution), ensuring that all activities strictly follow the Company's SCPP (Supply Chain & Procurement Procedures) applicable in Iraq and other internal rules and regulations, and prevent any non‑compliant conduct.Independently review key tender documents (e.g., tender dossiers, bid submissions, evaluation reports, clarification letters, etc.) to verify procedural fairness, transparency, and compliance; identify and report potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.Collect and consolidate departmental compliance data (such as procurement compliance rates, abnormal events, audit findings, etc.), prepare a monthly compliance report, and submit it to the Section Head and management on time to provide a basis for decision‑making.Organize and chair departmental compliance meetings (including monthly compliance regular meetings and ad‑hoc risk review sessions), record minutes, track follow‑up actions; and conduct compliance training to enhance team awareness.Minimum Qualifications:Degree in business administration or related area, or substantial relevant experience is required.Minimum Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience in project administration, compliance, procurement process, ERP, project document control and management.Minimum 3 years’ oversea working experience with experience in Middle East is a plus.Experience in Oil and Gas sector is a must.
