Serving 95,000+ merchants across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Australia, we help businesses grow through an integrated platform for payments, financial management, and digital transformation.Backed by USD 55 million in Series A funding—the largest global payments-sector Series A in 2024—KPay has been recognised as Forbes Asia's 100 to Watch (2025) and PayFac of the Year (2025).The OpportunityWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Specialist to join our growing Australia team and play an important role in supporting KPay’s payments, merchant acquiring, and lending businesses.You will work closely with the Compliance team and business stakeholders to support our compliance framework, monitor regulatory requirements, identify and manage compliance risks, and help ensure our obligations to ASIC, AUSTRAC, and relevant payment schemes are met.This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of compliance activities, broaden their regulatory experience, and grow their career within a fast-scaling international fintech.What You’ll DoSupport the implementation and maintenance of KPay’s Compliance Management Framework and AFSL obligationsMonitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the businessConduct compliance monitoring, testing, and reviews and support remediation activitiesSupport the management of compliance breaches, incidents, and issuesAssist with AML/CTF, KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions, and financial crime controlsProvide practical compliance support and guidance to business teamsSupport regulatory reporting and engagement with ASIC and AUSTRACConduct compliance and risk assessments across products, processes, and business activitiesSupport product and process reviews from a compliance perspectiveMaintain compliance policies, procedures, registers, and reportingWork closely with Risk, Operations, Product, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to strengthen compliance controlsContribute to initiatives that promote a strong compliance culture across the organisationWhat We’re Looking For2–4 years of compliance experience in fintech, payments, banking, lending, or financial servicesWorking knowledge of ASIC, AUSTRAC, AML/CTF, and AFSL requirementsExperience in compliance monitoring, reviews, risk assessments, or breach managementGood understanding of KYC/CDD/EDD and financial crime controlsExperience with regulatory reporting or compliance frameworks is highly desirablePayments, merchant acquiring, lending, or other fintech experience is highly preferredStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independentlyCommercially minded and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentA willingness to learn and take ownership of new compliance initiativesWhy KPay?Join a high-growth fintech shaping the future of payments and business financeGain broad exposure across payments, acquiring, and lendingWork closely with senior stakeholders and experienced compliance professionalsTake ownership of meaningful compliance projects and initiativesDevelop your expertise across ASIC, AUSTRAC, AFSL, AML/CTF, and financial crime complianceBuild your career within a growing international fintech with opportunities for progressionJoin KPay and build your compliance career while helping shape a stronger, smarter, and more scalable compliance function in Australia.
