Senior Compliance Specialist

RAYNE is expanding its consultant team and is seeking experienced Compliance Specialists based across Dubai and Abu Dhabi to join our growing practice. Compliance is one of the fastest-growing areas across the GCC, with regulators raising the bar and organisations investing heavily in governance and risk - driving unprecedented demand for commercially minded compliance professionals.As a consultant at RAYNE, you will be embedded directly within client organisations, functioning as a genuine extension of their in-house teams, backed throughout every engagement by RAYNE. We are currently growing our team across multiple seniority levels and locations throughout the GCC, with particular interest in Dubai-based professionals with strong experience in regulatory compliance and financial crime frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business, ensuring policies and procedures remain up to date.Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of AML, KYC, and financial crime compliance frameworks.Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits across business functions.Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations under UAE Central Bank, DIFC, and/or ADGM regimes.Liaise with regulators and external advisors on compliance matters, filings, and reporting requirements.Deliver compliance training and awareness sessions to internal teams.Assist in developing internal governance frameworks, policies, and reporting templates.Qualifications5+ years' compliance experience, ideally gained in-house or within a regulated financial institution.Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks; DIFC/ADGM experience advantageous.Solid understanding of AML, KYC, and financial crime compliance requirements.Prior experience liaising directly with regulators preferred.Excellent analytical, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.About RAYNERAYNE connects high-calibre legal professionals with leading multinationals, financial institutions, and government entities across the Middle East.
