Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: Up to ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and expertiseJoining: Immediate Joiner RequiredJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Compositing Artist with strong expertise in compositing, visual integration, colour correction, and final image enhancement for 3D animation and cinematic production.The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of the complete production pipeline and the ability to collaborate with lighting, rendering, animation, and other creative departments to deliver high-quality final shots.In addition to compositing expertise, candidates with knowledge of Unreal Engine, lighting workflows, rendering optimisation, scripting, and production pipeline troubleshooting will be preferred.Key Responsibilities* Handle high-quality compositing for 3D animated sequences, cinematic shots, and production projects.* Integrate CG renders, lighting passes, effects, and other visual elements into polished final shots.* Perform colour correction, colour grading, rotoscoping, masking, keying, and image enhancement as required.* Work with render passes, AOVs, mattes, masks, shadows, reflections, and depth passes.* Maintain consistency in lighting, colour, contrast, exposure, and visual quality across shots.* Identify and resolve compositing issues, including edge artefacts, colour mismatches, and integration problems.* Collaborate with lighting, rendering, animation, modelling, and look development teams to improve final output.* Understand upstream production issues and provide feedback to the relevant departments to minimise rework.* Follow creative direction and maintain visual continuity across sequences.* Optimise compositing workflows to improve production efficiency and shot delivery.* Review shots, implement feedback, and ensure production deadlines are met.* Support junior artists through technical guidance, workflow improvements, and quality reviews.* Maintain organised project files, naming conventions, version control, and production documentation.Required Skills & Expertise* Strong professional experience in 3D compositing and visual effects.* Excellent understanding of compositing principles, render passes, and CG integration.* Strong knowledge of colour theory, colour correction, grading, contrast, and exposure.* Understanding of lighting, rendering, shadows, reflections, depth, and atmosphere.* Ability to independently handle shots from initial setup through final delivery.* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.* Good understanding of the 3D animation and VFX production pipeline.* Ability to communicate effectively with multiple production departments.* Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating professional compositing work.Additional Skills That Will Be an AdvantageWe are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute beyond compositing and help improve the overall production pipeline.* Unreal Engine: Understanding of Unreal Engine lighting, rendering, and real-time production workflows.* Lighting & Look Development: Ability to identify lighting issues and suggest corrections before compositing.* Nuke: Strong knowledge of node-based compositing workflows.* Python or Scripting: Basic scripting knowledge to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.* Pipeline & Workflow Optimisation: Ability to identify bottlenecks, reduce rework, and improve shot delivery.* Rendering Knowledge: Understanding of render settings, AOVs, EXR workflows, colour management, and optimisation.* 3D Software: Familiarity with Maya, Blender, or other relevant 3D applications.* Colour Management: Understanding of ACES, linear workflows, and colour-space management.* Production Troubleshooting: Ability to identify technical issues between rendering, lighting, and compositing stages.Strong compositing expertise is essential.
