From single device upgrades to bulk hardware supply for growing teams, the company delivers custom, long-lasting solutions for B2B and B2C needs.Role Description The Senior Computer Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops, desktops, and related hardware components. This role involves performing in-depth troubleshooting, hardware replacement, and system optimization to meet RefurbTech.ae’s quality standards. The technician will conduct operating system installations and configurations, perform performance and stress testing, and document all repair and maintenance activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support to internal teams and customers, advising on upgrade options, ensuring adherence to quality audits, and maintaining a safe and organized workshop environment. The Senior Computer Technician may also mentor junior technicians and collaborate with sales and procurement teams to validate hardware specifications and support bulk deployment projects.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Support and customer-facing assistance for hardware and software issues.Candidates should possess solid Computer Maintenance and Computer Repair skills for laptops, desktops, and peripherals.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex hardware and performance problems.Candidates should possess practical experience with Operating Systems, including installation, configuration, and optimization of Windows and other common OS environments.Relevant experience in refurbishing, upgrading, or deploying enterprise and consumer hardware is highly beneficial.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and diagnostic reports.Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and consistent documentation practices.Minimum of 3–5 years in a computer technician or similar technical hardware role; experience in refurbishment or IT asset management is a plus.Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Sharjah, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
