Senior Computer Vision EngineerBerlin (Onsite, 5 days) | Up to €110k + Equity (VSOPs)We're hiring for a Berlin based startup building the next generation of defense systems. Operating in stealth mode, this team is solving hard, real world tracking problems, not just detection in a single frame.You'll own the tracking layer of the perception stack: multi UAS tracking, mostly from IR/thermal camera data, fused with laser range finder, radar and IMU inputs. The job is keeping stable, low latency, confidence scored tracks alive through occlusion, clutter and noisy real world conditions, then turning that into target state estimates for real time aiming and control.What you'll be doingBuilding and improving multi UAS tracking pipelines, from track initiation through to reacquisition after lossTuning state estimation and filtering (Kalman, EKF, UKF) for position, velocity, trajectory and uncertaintySolving IR/thermal specific challenges: low pixel footprint, weak contrast, thermal clutter, motion blurFusing visual tracks with radar, LRF and IMU data alongside robotics and controls engineersDeploying and optimizing on NVIDIA Jetson/Tegra with TensorRT and CUDADigging into real field data and failure modes to keep pushing the tracker's reliabilityWhat you'll need6+ years in computer vision, visual tracking or real world perception systemsSolid hands on background in multi object tracking and tracking by detectionStrong grasp of Kalman/EKF/UKF style estimation methodsComfortable with real world, noisy video data, not just clean benchmarksStrong Python and production grade C++Experience deploying on edge hardware (Jetson/Tegra preferred), with TensorRT/CUDAAble to work onsite in Berlin, 5 days a weekNice to have: a background in defense, aerospace or autonomous systems, IR/thermal tracking experience, or experience fusing radar/LRF into a tracking pipeline.What's on offerUp to €100k base plus VSOP equityCentral Berlin officeReal ownership on a fast scaling, mission critical productHoliday allowance, monthly voucher, public transport subsidyIf this sounds like your kind of problem, get in touch.
