The firm's London office offers a welcoming and collaborative environment, with the Conflicts & New Business team working closely with colleagues across the firm's international offices.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to join the firm's Conflicts & New Business Department as a Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm's new business acceptance process, conducting detailed conflicts research and AML reviews while providing high-quality advice and support to Partners and senior stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Conducting initial conflicts reviews, obtaining relevant information from Partners, Associates and Secretaries, and preparing comprehensive search termsUndertaking corporate research to identify relevant entities, subsidiaries and affiliatesReviewing conflicts search results, identifying potential conflicts and business issues, and escalating relevant matters to Conflicts LawyersPreparing clear and accurate conflicts reports and maintaining detailed records of research, communications and resolutionsResearching, identifying and verifying new clientsConducting AML and client due diligence reviews across a range of client risk profilesPreparing detailed AML risk assessments and AML packsAdvising Partners, Associates and Secretaries on UK/EU AML requirements, policies, procedures and required client documentationConducting adverse media and sanctions screening and escalating high-risk or complex matters to senior compliance stakeholders and MLROsAssisting with third-party payer requests, billing queries and other ad hoc conflictsThis Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst position is a full-time, permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday 9:30am – 5:30pm.RequirementsPrevious experience within a US or international law firm environment (Desired)Strong experience in AML, client due diligence and conflicts of interestVacancy HighlightsExposure to complex cross-border AML, conflicts and financial crime risk mattersHybrid workingCompetitive salary and discretionary performance bonusExcellent benefits package, including private medical insurance, pension contribution, life assurance and 33 days' paid time offTo be considered for this Conflicts & AML Senior Analyst opportunity, please contact Birchrose Associates for a confidential discussion.
