Apply & track with Apply EdgeOverall Purpose of Role To lead and coordinate day to day construction execution on site, acting as the right hand to the Construction Manager and ensuring pipeline and associated facility works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in full accordance with approved engineering drawings, specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.The role supports the Construction Manager in translating project plans into field execution, providing technical and supervisory oversight across all onshore construction work fronts including ROW works, trenching, welding, lifting, lowering-in, hydrotesting, tie-ins, and SIMOPS, while driving productivity, quality, and safety performance.Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:Construction Execution & Site SupervisionPlan, sequence, and supervise daily construction activities across all work fronts to meet project schedule targets. Act as the Construction Manager's primary site representative, ensuring instructions and priorities are executed by subcontractors and crews. Coordinate work-front resources (manpower, equipment, materials) to maintain progress and resolve site bottlenecks. Ensure construction activities are executed per approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.Saudi Aramco & Client InterfaceLiaise directly with Aramco site PMT, inspection, and QA/QC teams on construction progress and technical queries. Represent the Construction Manager in site coordination meetings, progress walks, and technical clarifications. Support timely resolution of client comments, NCRs, and field technical queries.Quality, HSE & Permit ComplianceEnsure all construction work is carried out under valid Permit to Work and in full compliance with HSE requirements. Enforce quality control checkpoints and hold points per the project Inspection & Test Plan (ITP). Support HSE and QC teams in inspections, audits, and closure of observations.Planning, Progress & ReportingMonitor daily/weekly progress against the project schedule and flag deviations to the Construction Manager. Prepare daily construction reports, progress updates, and productivity data. Support look-ahead planning and resource forecasting with the Planning team.Subcontractor & Workforce ManagementSupervise and direct subcontractor construction crews, ensuring productivity and workmanship standards. Review and endorse subcontractor method statements, JSAs, and work schedules. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior site engineers and supervisors.Technical & Engineering SupportReview and interpret construction drawings and specifications; raise RFIs and technical queries as needed. Support constructability reviews and provide field level input on execution sequencing. Coordinate as built documentation and redline markups with the engineering team.Interface & SIMOPS CoordinationCoordinate construction interfaces with brownfield operations, other contractors, and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). Support work front handover and tie-in coordination with operations and other disciplines.Materials & Equipment CoordinationCoordinate timely availability of materials, plant, and equipment for construction work fronts. Monitor equipment utilization and support optimization of site resources. Flag material or equipment shortages early and coordinate corrective sourcing with procurement/logistics.Deputizing & EscalationAct on behalf of the Construction Manager in their absence, representing the project in key site meetings and decisions.Escalate critical site issues, risks, and resource constraints to the Construction Manager in a timely manner.Support the Construction Manager in overall site construction strategy, sequencing, and execution planning.Champion a strong safety and quality culture across all work fronts under direct site oversight.Role Specific Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction EngineeringPMP, NEC/FIDIC contract management, or equivalent certification preferredMinimum 10-12 years' construction experience, with significant exposure to oil & gas / pipeline projectsMinimum 6 years’ experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably on Saudi Aramco pipeline/construction projectsSaudi Aramco approval preferredStrong knowledge of pipeline construction methods (ROW, trenching, welding, lowering-in, hydrotesting, tie-ins) Strong knowledge of PTW systems and Saudi Aramco construction standards Proven leadership and site supervisory skills, able to deputize for senior site management Strong planning, scheduling, and progress reporting skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications Effective communication and coordination
